Happy Easter !

21/4/2011

Just a quick blog tonight. The weather here in the UK is lovely at the moment & we could actually do with a bit of rain just to keep the grass growing. Living in the countryside & my husband working in farming the weather is a very important part of the job, dictating your days work most days & with the lack of rain lately the first cut of silage for the year which a lot of farmers do in the first week of May is looking a little sparse at the moment.
Millie & Bonnie are both around the 4 weeks pregnant stage & we will be scanning them both at the vets on Tuesday so fingers firmly crossed.
All the dogs are having lazy dog days with the heat at the moment, lying around asleep in the shade during the worst heat of the day & then coming to life in the evening running around playing chase me tumbling over each other wrestling playfully as the day closes. As they say its a dogs life ! Happy Easter Holidays !

Hello Jane

Love the pics! As always the dogs look great & I hope all goes well at the vets on Tuesday. Talking of vets I think Roxy may have a eye infection so a trip to the vet in the morning to check it out. The weather has been fantastic I cant believe the temp for April it was 26 for us today & there is more to come it makes a change to have a sunny Easter, if this is the start of the summer then we could be in for a long one but as past years show whenever we get a cracking April & May, June July & August are a bit hit & miss but I guess what will be will be. Hope you all have fun over Easter.

Best Wishes

Tracey xx

Hi jane,

happy Easter to you and the family, Alfie says a big hello too and sends a doggie lick, he is loving this warm weather and spends most of the day chasing bumble bees so we are having to keep an eye on him with that!! He has decided to rebel with his food at the minute, apparently the vet said this is normal so we are persevering, although it is difficult not to give in but I know in the long run it is better for his health to stick with what he normally has so lets see what happens.
I hope all goes well with the scans and I expect there are a lot of excited people waiting on news, I can remember it so well.

Best wishes
Vanessa, Roger and Alfie xx
