Harmony & never to big for a cuddle !

7/12/2011

Dolly's & Ysabel's Cavapoo pups are now living together in harmony. Mum's allow any pup to suckle them regardless of who's they are although Mum's are now slowly allowing less time to suckle for the pups & can be found gentle playing with them at times which is always lovely to watch Mum interacting playfully with their pups. They are getting braver by the day & I leave the pen get open certain times of the day & each day they adventure further from the den.
The funniest thing to see is when they are all asleep I go in once a day & hoover around the pen with my industrial sounding hoover & they do not stir but forget to undo the pen door without clicking it & they are all sat up wide awake.
I have booked them in today with the vet for their first vaccination & to be microchipped on the 20th December, as only 5 days apart we will have the vet visit us & do both litters together. Pups can have the first vaccination from 6 weeks but the second must not be done before 10 weeks old. Most people start vaccinations at 8 weeks, as my vet told me if Mum is vaccinated her antibodies passed on in her milk are just starting to wane in the pup around 8 weeks old. Due to Christmas we are having to do them a bit before 8 weeks to be sure to get them done before leaving us.
Lucy's Cavapoo pups are 4 days old today & are already looking tubby. Lucy is doing a sterling job of mothering them & like all are Mum's is very attentive
Lastly a lovely photo taken by my son Bert of Millie snuggled up with her daughter Smudge, just showing your never to big for a cuddle with Mum.

Do you what Vanessa, It must be something about cavapoos because Roxy just loves other dogs doesn't matter what size she loves to play with them all, this is one of the reasons we would like to get another girl mate for Roxy as she gets on so well with the furry community lol. I will continue to watch this space.

Best Wishes

Tracey xx :-)

Dear Jane, The latest photos are wonderful, the older children look really great with the 14 pups, can you trim Bella's neck so we can see her orange collar (joke). They are all coming on a treat. I hope Cyril finds a home soon, I don't expect it will take long. They are all so well adjusted and content.
Best Wishes

Hi Jane
We love the latest photos, it's great to see that the pups are getting so much attention. I have just booked our puppy socialisation classes and the woman who runs them asked if our puppy was getting used to being handled at the breeders - I think that is a big yes! We are still dithering a bit with the name I'm afraid - I have set the family a deadline of this weekend so our yellow collared girl can get used to her name! Looking forward to hearing some good news about Cyril soon.

Hi Jane,
What a lovely set of photos. It seems strange to see the black pups suckling from Ysabel - they are certainly a close knit family!
Hope your Mum is improving and feeling much better now.

Hi Jane,
The pups look beautiful, can wait to see them on Saturday. You are an amazing breeder and I am so glad I discovered your website.
Kind regards

Gorgeous photo's...again! They all look so lovely. Thank you for being so hospitable last Saturday when we came to visit when probably all you wanted was your bed. The children came straight home and wrote their letters to Santa changing their number one request to the puppy with the red collar (glad we all agreed). We will just have to wait for Christmas day to come now before we can get them invbolved in choosing an appropriate name for our little bundle.
