Sleeping Beauty !

13/12/2012

We only have Jenson now as his sister left last Saturday with the Pearce family. Thanks Linsay for letting me know you got home okay and hope all is going well.
Jenson leaves us this weekend and he will be missed, as he has settled in to life without his siblings. He did cry a little the first night sleeping in his crate on his own but now is happy to play with the other dogs and then happily settle on his own when left or at night times. He is a character and obviously keeping them on a little longer for someone brings even more of a bond, as you see more of their personality developing. Jenson is going to be not frightened of much and as you will see from the photo's tonight will sleep any where.  He is a little fluffy sleeping beauty.
Thanks Sue for this video of  Jenson's sister Maisy meeting Poppy who is Sue's friend Julie's Cavapoo who came from us last Christmas and Mum is Dolly. Maisy looks very happy getting out and about.
Now this is Millie who is from Smudge's amazingly big litter of 9 pups born back on the 27th April 2012. Thanks Alison for the update and lovely photo's of Millie and that she has brightened up your days.
Now you might think that's Reggie below but its not, its one of his sons but the Mum is a Cavapoo. So this is a f1b Cavapoo. The Mum is Fizz who's Mum is Ysobel and Dad is Rollo my sisters Poodle and back early this year Fizz came back to us for a couple days to visit Reggie. Sarah who owns Fizz very kindly sent me this photo, as I had said I would be very interested to see what they look like at adulthood. Obviously more like a Poodle but still very cute and there is still a bit of the Cavalier there. Thanks Sarah for letting me know how they are going on.

Life now gets a bit hectic at Poundlane with Christmas fast approaching and our children winding up like coiled springs. This afternoon we had our Christmas  Church of England Primary School Fayre. We are a small school of around 50 odd pupils and although a small school we have very much a community spirit and it always amazes me the money we raise at all the events the school does. We had a first as a family effort winning the best decorated cake but not to worry I'm not going to turn into super competitive parent, although I have put a photo below of our effort.
The School Christmas Fayre marks the start of festivities for me and although I would not say, "I'm religious", but next week in the Church as the whole School performs the nativity, it would take a hard hearted person to be humbug and maybe for a second I might just say, "there could be a God."
Its officially Christmas in our home now and as for goodwill to all, well that's a given at any time of the year.

Hi Jane,

Well... we are home safe and sound. Journey was very good. Jenson slept all the way (with no vomit!) and one stop for a drink and the toilet. He is a very lively and gorgeous puppy. We are so happy to have him.

Thank you and your family for all you've done for him. I will send you some photos to post to your blog.

Thank you and Happy Christmas to you and your family.

Oh Jane how will the family cope without any puppies around this Christmas - 19 last year.
Good Wishes to all
