Children back at school today, so an unholy silence is upon the home. The wet weather is still here. This winter has been one for the hardened dog owner, as some owners have curtailed exercising their dogs, due to the wet and mud this Winter, and animal behaviorists are seeing more dogs  “chronically” bored depressed, unsettled and “in need of therapy”. Lessons in looking after your dog should be compulsory ​writes journalist Michele Hanson about fair weather dog owners .
The video is of me this morning after being out with the dogs and then feeding them in the pouring rain. I generally feed the dogs outside, as easier with a lot of dogs and when I put the bowls out at first it was just a very light drizzle, which then turned in to a heavy drizzle. In dry weather I often will feed them from the floor, not using bowls. Not so mad, when you think that wild canines eat perfectly okay without the need for a bowl.
​The video shows my haphazard way of feeding our dogs. As I say, "I feed by eye." Which is I keep an eye to the condition of each dog and feed accordingly. The video though is to show how socially adept dogs are and that if brought up to feed together with good pack order established, will do it happily with very little discourse.
