I got home from milking yesterday evening to be told that Jan and Viv had rung up, and hoped to pick up Barney around 7 pm. They have had a bit of a time getting home from Madeira, as strong winds have made flying in to and out of the island difficult. They finally have made it home, seven days after they had planned to be home and pick up Barney. They arrived around 7 pm and I went out with Barney on the his lead to greet them, and as soon as he saw them, he was beside himself with joy.
Thanks Viv and Jan for the bottle of Madeira wine. I have made a discovery Phillips of Bristol Lovage and Madeira wine make for a very nice tipple together.

Thanks so much for looking after Barney for the extra week for us knowing that he was with his family made our situation a bit more bearable for us. He has settled in well but is still tired after all the stick playing and running around with his brother Ernest. Glad you have made a great discovery with the maderia wine, enjoy a well deserved tipple xx
