Next to leave yesterday, at lunchtime was the inimitable Mr Cooper, or Cooper for short. Fiona who lives in Oxford was struggling to get down this week to pick him up, so yesterday Fiona's mum, Penny came and picked him up. Penny and her husband, Tony have one of our dogs, Little Jack. So I have meet them a number of times, as I have Fiona visiting Jack before leaving, and them all visiting Cooper a couple times before him leaving us. So yesterday Cooper set off with Jack as company for Oxford.
Cooper was one of the smaller pups of Treacle's litter, and looks the most like his Dad, Casper of his litter siblings. Not the bravest of the litter, watching him overcome his initial fear of new things has been very endearing. A very affectionate little boy, who I'm sure is going to make a wonderful companion dog for Fiona. All the best Fiona with the inimitable Mr Cooper,
“The greatest pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him, and not only will he not scold you,but he will make a fool of himself, too.”
