Got an update for Dexter from Caroline yesterday. Dexter is from Ysobel's last ever litter born on the 31st July 2013 The temperature never lies "Hi Jane & Family, Every now and then I check in and have a little glimpse at your blogs to see how it's all going at Poundlane. I always come away feeling very lucky ( and quite hungry),that we found you as we are so very happy with Dexter, he's such a sweetheart, always keen to make new doggy friends, although it seems to be quite difficult living rurally. There are a few dogs living within a mile or so that have aggression problems. In January a rescue dog living close by attacked Dexter whilst we were out walking, Dexter was on his lead and so were the other two dogs but the owner could not control her dog and she let go of his lead and he piled into Dexter. This was the result Dexter is absolutely fine now with no lasting damage physically or behavioural. It does concern me how owners knowingly take there dogs out without muzzle or control over their dogs knowing what damage they could inflict. Anyway enough doom and gloom here are some happier times. I keep meaning to pop and see you with Dexter as I'm not too far away. Love to you all and big hugs all round Caroline & Dexter xxx" Thanks Caroline for the update on Dexter. Lovely to here from you. That looks nasty after the dog attack. Never ceases to amaze me how many people out there are over dogged. I met some people a little while ago with two German shepherds and they could barely hold on to them as we passed on a narrow piece of pathway and you just think, that is an accident waiting to happen.
