A couple days ago an update for Bella (aka Rose) and Bertie came in. Bella and Rose are from our litter of pure Cavaliers born this last June with the Mum being Primrose and the Dad, Toby. "Hi Jane, The puppies are growing up beautifully! They are doing very well at puppy training classes. Our little girl is proving to be a clever little thing who listens well and is very quick to work things out. Bertie quite likes retrieving things, loves toys and since he grew bigger than his sister seems to be more in charge! On Saturday we bought them their own dog bed armchairs, which they adore! They look so cute in them we thought we had to send you some pictures! Kind Regards Paula" I then emailed Paula to thank her for the update and to confirm if Rose is now called Bella, as they had mentioned changing her name to Bella, but had not done so whilst in my care, as to not cause confusion with her litter sister also being called Bella as well and got this lovely reply. "Hi Jane,
Yes we now call little Rose Bella. She really is a sweet little thing. Very gentle and sensitive but smart. Bertie is wonderfully confident, and passionate about everyone and everything. They are both marvellous off their leads, possibly because we took your advice and have never kept them on them. They are also amazingly good with every dog we meet and we meet a lot! Even enormous dogs like Great Danes which we seem to see frequently! They bring a lot of joy, to us and everyone they meet. Paula " It sounds like Bella and Bertie have settled in really well. Thanks Paula for sharing them getting their new beds and updating me on how things are going.
