Laura's husband, Rob arrived this morning, just before 10 am to pick Harry up. Harry is now on his way to Surrey. It is times like this that I wish for a moment that I could explain to dogs what is happening and tell Harry, "Not to worry boy, You are going off to have a wonderful life with your sister, Daisy, " but alas that is not possible and as I put Harry in Rob's car, Harry looked at me with a look of confusion, to what was happening. I said my good byes to Rob and as he drove off I could see Harry in his crate in the back of his car with a fixed stare on me until the car disappeared down the lane. I know he is going off to have a good live with his sister, Daisy, but it is never easy saying, "Goodbye" and rang my husband to tell him Harry was gone and how I did not realize how much I would feel as I saw him leave. My husband replied, telling me that this morning he had allowed Harry up beside him as he eat his breakfast (David is up earlier due to early morning milking) giving him an extra cuddle, knowing he would be gone when he came home later and feeling much the same as I was. I then went out with the rest of the dogs and for the short time he was back with us, funnily though I felt something was missing this morning running the dogs out and that was Harry running into the back of my legs every now and then. Funny how something you find a little annoying, can be the thing that you miss the most about a dog or even another human. My husband annoys the hell out of me. Lol

That brought a tear to my eye, Jane. He sounds like such a special boy and I promise we'll do our best to give him a lovely home.

“The greatest pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him, and not only will he not scold you,but he will make a fool of himself, too.”
