I'm not giving Rose away

Yesterday I blogged that I had decided to not keep Rose from Primrose's litter of Cavaliers, because she has a very small umbilical hernia, which I believe is more likely to be an hereditary one. 

I would of been keeping Rose as a potential brood bitch, but with the hernia, it would be best not to use her for breeding and as we already have eleven adult dogs and two pups we kept back from Smudge's litter, at this moment I have enough pet dogs.

It seems though from people who have contacted me about Rose, that they  think I might be giving her away. Sorry, she just has a very small umbilical hernia, that in no way devalues her as a pet dog. The hernia is so small, that most would probably not notice it on viewing her and probably would not be aware of it until their vet examined her. Perhaps I should not be so honest ?

One person today emailed me back after I told her the price minus what my vet quoted to repair if she is spayed in the future. The price of our pups is on the website page "Buying A Puppy From Poundlane", so I suspect she had done no more than see the picture of Rose and wanted her, thinking having a small umbilical hernia, I would be desperate to sell her. 

She said in her email, "I wasn't expecting such a high price." She then goes on to tell be that she had been browsing the internet "when browsing I saw that prices might be lower for King Charles spaniel." I know the type of browsing that she would of done and comparing me with that is a bloody insult. The browsing that you will do for Cavaliers will be predominantly puppy farmed puppies, because this breed being advertised in the open market is predominantly from pups puppy farmed in this country or Eastern Europe. The Cavalier market is declining rapidly, due to the health problems in this breed being made more public by the media in recent years and as a better price and market is found now with breeding the cross with them called the Cavapoo, the puppy farmers are gradually breeding these more than Cavaliers.  

The mother and father of Rose have been heart examined by a cardiologist vet, eye tested, CM/SM MRI scanned and DNA tested for Dry Eye/Curly Coat and Episodic Falling in Cavaliers. I seriously doubt when she was browsing her cheaper Cavaliers, any of the pup's parents had all these tests done to each of them.  
Then to make herself sound even more of a tit, she then says, "So we will be waiting for a better opportunity to buy one" which I presume is code for  "So we will wait to find a cheaper puppy." Lol
I doubt she will find a better opportunity of having both parents health tested to the level Rose's parents are.

Any way lets not let that lady's insolence spoil our fun. Today I got the old camera out and although it keeps switching from video to panoramic photos randomly I managed to get  some footage of Primrose's Cavalier pups. These pups like all pups just over eight weeks old have stepped up a gear and when awake now are in to everything and up to mischief if left unattended for to long.
