Caught this lovely sequence of photos last night of our oldest son, Bert having some cuddle time with Primrose's pups. He has been working very hard lately Stooking reed with his brother, Alfie and he had gone to bed early last night, but had a bit of a sore throat and had come out late for a drink, as David and I were getting reading for bedtime. So the house was quiet and I then noticed that he had not gone right back to bed. He had been distracted by the pups. Don't often get photos of Bert these days with the pups and when he has fledged in September, these moments will be even fewer. Looking forward to him having lots of things to remember. “The important thing about having lots of things to remember is that you’ve got to go somewhere afterwards where you can remember them, you see? You’ve got to stop. You haven’t really been anywhere until you’ve got back home.” - Terry Pratchett, The Light Fantastic

Lovely words from you once again Jane, and many things to reflect on. Guard those precious moments and keep them close to your heart and you will never forget them.
