Just a couple photos of Ernest and Lily photos taken today. Out to the vet tomorrow to get their last jabs done of their primary course.

Hope Ernest and Lily get on well at the vets today, we took Barney yesterday for his last jab and he did cry while she injected him she said that this jabs stings them but felt so sorry for Barney. He soon forgot his experience though with loads of cuddles and a few treats bless him.

Hello Jane, How handsome and pretty Ernest and Lily are, just like all the Poundlane Pack. I think one young man named Henry is a very special dog in your life though! The photos say it all.

Lovely pics of Lily and Ernest. Just a quick question Barney is scooting his bum along the ground mainly after his poo is this normal for a puppy to do this for a while?

Sometimes they will scoot after a poo if they have a bit of poop still stuck around their bottom. Just check if he has any clingers around his bottom, if so it might be a good thing to trim the hair around his bottom. A occasional scoot I would not be that worried about. Like humans they can occasionally get an itchy bottom.
The other reason maybe that he has an anal gland a bit full. The anal glands sit either side of the rectum, as you probably know and if overfilled, they usually give off a strong odour. Give him a couple days as often the body will self regulate and the gland will empty naturally. If he is still scooting in a couple days time and doing it more often, then it might pay to visit the vet to take a look at his anal glands.

Thanks Jane he is only doing it occasionally so will keep an eye on it and check his clingers ha.
