I'm not one for measuring food out for my dogs. An eye cast over them and a hand felt across their back is a better guide than any feeding instructions to the condition of a dog. The four I am sat with eating from a communal bowl of food, are often to interested in my business to stop and eat, unless my business is to sit with them whilst they eat, and on a sunny morning like we had today. It ain't the worst job to be doing.

“The greatest pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him, and not only will he not scold you,but he will make a fool of himself, too.”
