Just sticking my neck out

I'm pretty sure Primrose is pregnant.

Primrose is now 21 days since her first mating with Henry. At around 21 to 31 days into a bitches gestation, fetuses are separate shapes within the uterine horns rather like a string of beads. On palpation the embryos can separately be felt at this stage. 

Before scanning palpation at this stage was how pregnancy was diagnosed and roughly how many pups had been conceived. As it is easy to feel already that she is pregnant, that already is a good sign of a reasonable sized litter has been conceived. I can feel several beads, I would hope at least four. Primrose's biggest litter was 6 pups. We will scan her towards the end of next week. To hopefully confirm my suspicions.
I have yet to put information about this litter up on the Litters ​page. Just have not had the time. Looking at the website I think it might be in need of a good spruce up and to finally get on with more of 'The Poundlane Spaniel' page. 
​We will retain from this litter and is the reason why this litter is happening. I won't know until the litter is born what I'm really looking for, but I will know when I see it. So anyone interested in this litter of Brittany/Cavalier mix please be patient and I will publish news as and when it happens.
