Had a lovely email from Jersey telling me about how Pi is settling in to his new home with Jane.
The past few days have been wonderful, just getting him settled in. We have had a few good long beach walks, and yesterday I took him to the sand dunes, which is great spot to walk with dogs, he really enjoyed that. We went into the local garden centre to get some toys and have a walk around and he met my friends 2 year old son Jack, that was really cute! Pi is such a gentle boy anyway, but to see how sweet he was following Jack around and being so patient with him, it was just wonderful. I think they are set to be best friends!
I am off all week but need to be in the office today and he's with me in his bed now, a bit confused, but as long as he can see me he seems to be ok. I'll leave as soon as I'm able today and then we are going to the arbouretum next to the reservoir which is a great walk!
Lots of love, Jane & Pi"
