Primrose and Toby's Cavalier pups are now five weeks and one day old. They are growing very well and now want to investigate beyond the puppy pen. They have been out around the home, but had yet to go outside, due to the weather. Finally today after three days of rain, we got a break. The sun decided to come out, so it gave me a chance to get Primrose's pups out on the patio. They were very brave for their first time outside. Jessica who lost her leg last year due to an accident, seemed very interested in the pups and the end part of the video shows the four remaining pups from Smudge's litter up on the lawn playing. Smudge and Henry's remaining four pups are nearly twelve weeks old. They will receive their second Lepto4 vaccination on Friday and then on Saturday the last two pups leaving us will leave for their new homes. The two pups leaving us on Saturday are Tilly and Bertie. I caught the photo below of the two them together in one of the dog beds in the back house (utility room). These two are real characters and are going to give their new families a lot of love and laughs over the coming years. When Bertie and Tilly have left, we will be left with the two girls we are keeping Blottie and Bumble. It will be interesting to see these girls grow in to adult dogs and I will wait with interest on reports and photos back of their siblings.
