Two videos tonight of Treacle's pups. The first one is of the pups having their evening run out around our property and the one below is at the start of Albey and Barney with our daughter, Molly and then the two of them in the kitchen with Blottie playing gently with them. Adopting a more submissive play with the puppies than she does with her sister. Interesting article on ScienceDaily to read about research in to How Wolf Pups Play Together. 'Jennifer Essler notes: "The study presents the first evidence that wolf puppies do not show egalitarian play styles, and adult wolves do not appear to exhibit self-handicapping behaviors to engage the puppies in play. Thus, it does not appear that the retained levels of conspecific cooperation within wolves, compared to dogs, has selected for more egalitarian play styles."' It happens to be our daughter, Florrie's 13th Birthday on Saturday, when Treacle's pups are eight weeks old and Albey leaves us on Sunday. So I have booked the pups in for their first vaccinations and doing their microchips for Friday. As the children are home and the litter is only four pups, rather than have a home visit from the vet ( as I normally do with bigger litters), I will take them in to the vets. So tomorrow we will get them all out for their first trip in a car, rather than the first trip in the car being to the vets to be injected. Don't want to associate their first voyages in a car with what might be a negative experience.

What a wonderful video (Great to see Albey recognising his name) but you seem to have posted 'Puppies Outside' twice and missed 'Puppies indoors' all together. I don't want to miss seeing a video of the puppies 😉

Sorry about that Heather. Thanks for letting me know. Problem rectified. I'm going to blame that on the Elderflower Wine.
