A bit early to be comparing measurements of our 3/4 Cavalier/ 1/4 poodle pups, Ernest and Lily, but I have put this side profile of Toby their Dad, alongside a side profile of his son Ernest to see where we are at.
We have kept length of the nose going back to the pure Cavalier with a F1 Cavapoo. We seemed to of kept a good length of neck and although not that visible from this photo the stop is not so extreme, more of a slope rather than like a L that we see in most Cavaliers. I do believe the severity of the stop on many Cavaliers has some relevance to the higher probability of the development of SM (Which I mentioned to a vet some ten years ago and she thought I might be on to something), as I feel this has a high probability to site the brain further back in the skull, even fractionally this could be enough to effect cranium development and maybe why we have the development problems at the back of the skull.

The teeth obviously have more room in the jaw which should be better for a dog. The Brittany/CKCS have a lot more room for all their teeth so over time this should make them less prone to plaque build up.
