![]() Today I had a very special visit from Alison and Ray who have Maddie, who is Smudge's litter sister. Nearly five years ago Maddie left to become part of Alison and Ray's family. Alison has kept in touch during that time and we did see each other once in Barnstaple a couple years back, but that was only fleeting. So today it was lovely to see them and spend a couple hours catching up with each other. Alison spent most of the time nursing Smudge's pups and it was lovely to see how much Maddie is like her mother Millie, not only in looks but also character. Such was the chatting that I almost forgot to get a photo of Maddie, until they had loaded her back in the car and were about to leave. So I ran and got the camera and we got Maddie back out of the car and Ray took the photo above of Maddie and me. Thanks Alison and Ray for popping into see us today. It was great to see you all.
