Managed to get a photo of Primrose's three little Cavalier pups today, all awake at the same time and all looking towards the camera. These pups are now twenty two days old now, are growing well and just starting to see their characters developing. As I have said before, we don't restrict mother's access to her pups ever and as the video shows, Smudge with her eight remaining pups, still likes to give them a little bit of comfort. I feel allowing this for as long as possible for a pup really benefits them. Smudge's pups are ten weeks old tomorrow and will get their second vaccination for Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvo (DHP). Then on Saturday Bertie 2 and Beasley leave us. Lastly tonight is a slideshow featuring Smudge's mother Millie and the father to Smudge's pups Henry. I bake a lot, as having six children I have plenty of mouths to fill and I also enjoy cooking generally. I cooked a chocolate cake a couple days ago and this evening when the children came home from school (all later than usual due to school trips and homework clubs), the chocolate cake proved very popular to stave hunger, as I started cooking dinner. Thomas our youngest son, decided to sit on the patio wall eating his, drawing attention from Millie and Henry. I suppose you could call it "Chocolate cake in your cupboard love."
