Received a lovely email and photo from Angie after they picked up Archie from us on Monday. The photo they took of Archie with his Dad, Reggie, Mum, Smudge and Granny, Millie, so three generations at Poundlane. "Hi Jane, Thank you so much again for looking after Archie. He was excited to race into his own garden but then seemed to wonder where all his four legged family and friends were! He has had some good walks since then and happily played with a weasler- never met one of those before! I hope you have a great time with Millie visiting tomorrow. Will look forward to seeing photos of her. We have new food for Archie now and following your feeding advice. It was so lovely to see all your family again- a fabulous place with fabulous people. Take care, Love from Angie xxx" Thanks for that Angie. I think Angie might of seen a Vizsla sometimes referred to as a Weisler, which is a type of pointing dog which originates from Hungary. Archie's litter sibling visited us on Thursday with Alison's family, along with Maddie who Alison's mother-in-law has, Lynda and got from me last year from Primrose's litter with Reggie the Dad. It was lovely to see them all and have a cup of tea and a chat, but I forgot to get any photos until they were leaving and tried to get a couple, but unfortunately they were blurry and not worth putting up here. Thanks Alison and Lynda for taking the time out of your holiday to visit me with Millie and Maddie, it was great to see you all. The next updates are from Archie's half siblings, being from Archie's Mother's litter born this year with Henry the Dad. The first is from Tracey, who has the adorable Bertie. "Hi Jane - hope you're all well and enjoying the school holidays! Just sending you a short video to show Bertie on his walk. He's been so good off the lead and although loves to explore, he's learning it's good to come back too! Tracey Xx" Thanks Tracey. He just looks so gorgeous when he looks up to you, can he get any more gorgeous ? Next is an update for Bertie's litter sibling the very pretty Daisy, who had a trip to the beach yesterday with Laura and her family. "Hi Jane, Just a quick email and video showing Daisy at the beach today. We went to Camber Sands in East Sussex, which has a long stretch that is dog friendly all year round. She absolutely loved it, although she wasn't keen to go in the sea. She dug some cracking holes though! You'll hear in the audio my daughter complaining about getting her trousers wet in her hurry to have a paddle. We went very spur of the moment and anticipated bad weather so had packed waterproofs and wellies. It must have a microclimate as we ended up getting sunburnt as it was such a glorious day. Laura x" Thanks for that Laura. Daisy looks very happy off the lead. If you want to get a pup to go in to the water, often they will follow you or get them friendly with a dog that loves water and often they will forget any fears if they see their canine friend unworried about the stuff. The slideshow features photos of Blottie and Bumble, litter sisters to Bertie and Daisy who are all now sixteen weeks old and growing in to lovely dogs.
