This morning Barney left us. The fourth pup of Treacle's litter to leave. Tony and Wendy picked him up and he has gone to live with them and their Cavalier girl Daisy, who lost her Cavalier life long companion a little while ago and with that loss, Tony and Wendy told me, "Daisy seemed to lose her zest for life," she is only 7 years old. Barney is hopefully a panacea for Daisy.
Barney is a little fluff ball, a very energetic fluff ball, who has a lot of zest for life and I have no doubt will share this with Daisy. General happiness emanates from this little chap. You can't be in his company for long without him making you smile, either from his ever wagging tail or general clowning around. I wish Tony and Wendy all the best with Barney, and I'm pretty sure Daisy will be back up to full zest for life, with Barney around to re-charge her.
“The greatest pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him, and not only will he not scold you,but he will make a fool of himself, too.”
