Got a lovely 6 month update for Barney, who is Cooper's litter sibling (and now almost look like identical twins) who we also recently had a 6 month update for.
we thought you would like another Barney update now that he is 6 months old. He's doing really well and is a lovely friendly little dog, full of the joys of life and certainly keeps us on our toes! His coat is getting a bit longer but he doesn't seem to shed much at all. We went for his 6 month vet check today and they are very pleased with him. I'm afraid the errant testicle still hasn't appeared, but apparently it is quite low down now so there is a very slight chance that it might arrive in time for when he is neutered. If not they think it shouldn't be too difficult to remove. I've attached a couple of photos. One with his Daisy and one of him having fun in the dog exercise area at Roadford Lake. Unfortunately, soon after this was taken he managed to do a limbo dance and escaped under the gate, which we thought he was too big to do! His normally excellent recall went out the window and he ran off. Luckily he headed for the tea room and Tony managed to catch up with him there. Hope all is well with you and your family and the Poundlane Pack.
Kind regards Wendy & Tony"
"Hello Wendy and Tony,
great to hear from you now Barney is 6 months old. Cooper and him look so alike now, he has cast his fluffy coat. He was such a sweet puppy, and sounds like he is bringing you a lot of joy.
Looks like he gave you a bit of a scary moment at Roadford Lake, it's amazing how small a space they can wriggle through.
Thanks for the photos, especially the one with Daisy. They look good friends.
Will be interesting to know if the testicle does drop before he is neutered
