After the muddle up this morning, as I said earlier I had cleared today and was twiddling my thumbs, although I could of found a job to do but I had been afforded an opportunity that rarely comes my way these days, time on my own with my husband, so instead of going to the river for a walk, he suggested we went to the beach (I suspect some of you where wondering were I was going with that but the night is still young though ! Lol). So we loaded up Millie and Smudge and arrived at Instow, which is a lovely little beach, with just across the estuary is Bideford and the pretty village of Appledore. Instow is park, jump over the wall and your on the beach.
Really enjoy the beach in the winter and today the sun was out which was lovely to see, but so was the North wind, in pretty noisey fashion, as you will hear it dashing about us in the video's. We had dressed for the occasion though and my coat aquired at the beginning of this winter proved to be a worthy recruitment against the chill of the North wind. So both dressed looking like stand in's for the Michelin man, we really enjoyed our rather blustery walk with Millie and Smudge on the beach.
I have had to spread this blog over two posts, as not all video's would load on one post, so this is Part One.
