We start worming pups at two weeks old. I got home from milking this morning just before 9 am and the children were cuddling Treacle's pups, so thought it an ideal moment to give them their first dose of wormer, as they are two weeks old today. Worming pups is very important. Worms can soon overrun a pup and cause them serious health issues at this age. We use Panacur Oral Paste for three days and every two weeks until 10 weeks old.
The photos are the pups just after receiving their first dose of wormer, so the white on their lips is not milk, but wormer, which by the look on their faces does not taste all that good.

Your blogs always make me smile. They look like me after my bowl of porridge in the morning. The golden boy looks like he enjoyed it !

I cannot believe how much they have grown in two weeks, Treacle's milk must be excellent, as is she. Has made me want to look at the blog for when Bella was this age 4 1/2 years ago November 2011.

The pups are doing so well and the freckled pink noses are gradually turning black hope the wormer was a bit tasty for them.
