Its overcast, I guess it's Easter !

7/4/2012

Happy Easter to everyone ! The weather here in the UK seems to have come a week early for Easter & instead of the brilliant sunshine last weekend now the children are home & the Easter weekend is upon us, the weather is decidely chilly & overcast but at least its not lashing down with rain, yet !
This last week has flown past & last weekend I had a guest staying Fizz. Fizz is from Ysobel's first ever litter by my sister's miniature poodle Rollo & is a beautiful Cavapoo girl. She had come to hopefully go in pups to Reggie.
Reggie's charm worked on her & hopefully in a few weeks time I will hear if pregnancy has been confirmed. These will be a litter of f1b's which is a first cross then crossed back to a purebreed of one of the breeds in the first cross. Hope that makes sense.
Smudge is doing well now just going past her 5th week of her gestation with her & Reggie giving me the runaround this morning. Out for a walk & they both disappeared together but alot of whistling & the two mud monster's did turn up looking very happy with themselves.
Belle's leg is going on well with her off any pain killers now & just a slight limp. We have now taken her crate down which we where using to keep her in at times to restrain her activity but as you will see in the photo's she had company in her crate.

A couple updates & photo's of Spencer from Lucy's last litter & Otis from Ysobel's last litter & if Belle's brother.
They are both doing well. Spencer has just finished his puppy classes & Otis I might get to see in a week or so's time as his family are holidaying in Cornwall & if time will pop in on the way through.
That brings me to Poppy who is from Dolly's last litter who with her family we will hope to see on Monday & I must remember to take some photo's of the visit.
My mum's Cleo is doing well with her 5 Cavapoo pups now 3 days old. They are very lively little crew & Cleo is proving a very good mum.
Millie & her Cavapoo pups below now will be three weeks old on Monday. They are a cracking bunch of bookends. They are getting about now, verbalising & loveliest of all which always tickles me is they now wagg their little tails on you touching them or on hearing you talk to them. You would think when I see them wagging their tails for the first time I have never seen this phenomenon as l call anyone in the house excitedly to view this very cute gesture. I suppose its connection that moment the pups acknowledge your there.

Hello Jane,

How adorable Millie's pups are! (And Cleo's too, but I have to remain loyal!) I can't wait to see them wagging thier little tails- I can't believe how fast they are growing in front of my eyes!

Happy Easter to everyone!

James

Hi Jane,
Happy Easter to you all! Thank you for the lovely pictures of all the puppies and dogs. Puppies are growing fast and look very contended, Mum's are doing a brilliant job.
Enjoy the rest of the week-end.
Kind regards

Helio Jane,

Happy Easter to you all! Lovely pics of all the gang, they all look so content. Fingers crossed for Fizz who I'm sure will produce very beautiful puppies! Reggie must be in his element, I should imagine he has become very experienced on working his charm on the ladies lol Millies puppies are coming on a treat & Cleo looks as though she has taken to motherhood pretty well, her babies look soooo tiny.
I'm glad to hear that Belle is off of all pain relief & hope that she goes on to make a full recovery. Otis & Spencer are looking very handsome indeed. I bet your dog walks are just like ours, taking double the time, sometimes I think we should have called Roxy ATTENTION SEEKER lol :-) Well done Spencer, you are looking very proud with your rosette & so you should be. Keep up the good work, your half sister Roxy sends you big doggie licks :p

Trish - I have decided not to give Roxy raw chicken wings anymore. I know the vets say that its ok, my main concern is, raw chicken carries so much bacteria I just don't feel comfortable giving them to her. Hope all is going well for everbody else

Best Wishes

Tracey & Roxy :-) xx

Hi Jane,

Happy Easter to everyone. Your house is once again filled to the brim with lovely puppies! They all look adorable - shame they grow up so quickly!
Edward is doing well and like Spencer, he has passed his puppy class and has the rosette to prove it!
He had his first trip to the beach last week and loved it! He wasn't too bothered about going in the sea but loved digging in the sand. Will try and get some pictures e mailed to you.
In comparison to Spencer & Otis, who, I know are a bit younger Edward looks a lot bigger - mainly I think because he has such a lot of hair. When wet he really looks very skinny! I think he will need a trim soon as his hair is very long and being black he soaks up the sun (when it's out that is!)

Dawn & Buffy x x
