Quick blog tonight with mugshots taken tonight of Primrose's Cavapoo pups who will be ten weeks old tomorrow. The first to leave us in the afternoon after visiting the vets tomorrow morning for second vaccination and micro chip will be Maisy, so tonight is the last night for them all together. Archie will leave in the week and then Milly next weekend with Jenson staying with us until the weekend after Milly leaves, so Jenson will probably be quite spoilt before leaving. These pups have been  such fun and have made us laugh along with the obligatory pulling out of my hair at their exploits and no doubt Jenson will give us the chase around before he leaves us in a couple weeks time, four enqusitive bundles of fluffy fun.
The other slideshow have been taken over the last few days.

Primrose's Cavapoo pups where 8 weeks old on Saturday and visited the vets  for their first vaccination and check over. They travelled very well and for this first trip in the car Mum came with them, as always like to get Mum checked over after the birth especially with Cavaliers to check the heart is sounding okay. Mum likes travelling in the car, so this helps pups to relax and hopefully start with positive outlook to going in the car. They travelled well to and back. 
I have just registered with a new vet, having had association with my other vet for over 20 years it was not an easy decision but since they where taken over by another vets I have had problems in out of hour service and expected to travel to a surgery over twice as far away from my regular surgery.  Instead of 8 miles away the surgery out of hours is over 20 miles away and when I have had an emergency cesarean  out of hours and had to travel twice back and from the surgery instead of travelling around 32 miles I have clocked up over 80 miles to and from the surgery.
The surgery I am with now I have known for years working around farms and hopefully has kept its personal service which unfortunately as vets expand often is lost, seeing a different vet every time you visit the vet.
My first visit to my new vet went well and it was commented on how well grown, how healthy the pups seemed and how out going they are. On examination all seems well. No squeakers in the litter as they all took having their first vaccination bravely. Next time though they will also be micro chipped and that can be a different story, as the needle is a lot bigger to put the micro chip in with.
When we got home from the vets the pups had a treat and had a run around the whole of the property and then as you look at the photo's you will see the photo of them crashed out and did they sleep after their little outing. 
They are really full on now and seem very confident in investigating every thing and last Friday Jenson 's curiosity got the better of him and on pulling a lamp lead nearly had a vase on his head. Luckily the vase hit the floor and Jenson sat looking at his handy work and as I said "Oh, Jenson !" to him looked up at me as if to say "It wasn't me. " The vase is no more but is replaceable. 

I have just started getting their puppy packs and all their paper work together, seems like no time at all since they had just come into the world and not long now before they go out into the world.

The photo's are of the pups and a few of the adult dogs over the last two weeks and I have changed the collars of the pups recently with a blue collar on Jenson, a red collar on Archie, a pink striped collar on Milly and a white collar with multi coloured flowers on Maisy.

The photo below is what happens if you fall asleep in our house with our children around. Found it on my camera and have yet to find out who took this photo of poor unsuspecting Toby. Looks like he doesn't know either who took it or the fact that it was took.

An attempt  to get up to date with updates tonight. Starting with two of Belle's siblings who had their first birthday the beginning of November Rosie and Otis. Thanks to the Kirkup family who Rosie is very much a family member of for the lovely photo's and update on how you are getting on. Really good to hear that Rosie is proving very much a family dog.

Thanks James for your recent update on Lola and her relaxing in one of the cats bed's. Lovely to here she has settled in well with your feline family. Lola's Mum is Millie and Dad is Reggie.

Thanks for yet more beautiful photo's of your Roxy. Tracey its hard to believe she will be two soon. She certainly knows how to work the camera. Always a pleasure to hear from you and Roxy. Roxy's Mum is Lucy with Dad being my sister's poodle Rollo.

Lucy is a Cavalier we rehomed with Sue and will be coming back to us again soon whilst Sue and her husband visit their daughter in Australia and thaks Sue for keeping intouch and letting us know Lucy is happy.

Hamish is from the litter from my Mum's Cleo and Dad Reggie. Thanks Alie for this funny photo and letting me know all is going on okay.

Henry is from Lucy's last litter and Dad is Reggie and he will be one the beginning of December. Thanks Janet for the photo and letting me know how you are getting on.

Darcy is from Smudge's litter and Reggie is the Dad. Thanks Kelly for the cute photo's and that every thing is starting to come together and you are going on okay.

Last but not least for tonights updates is Tiggy from Smudge's litter and Dad is Reggie. Thanks Joan for your lovely updates and the message you left me the other day. I think luck runs both ways and Tiggy is certainly a lucky boy to have found a home who obviously love him lots.

Finally my husband got this photo of me and all the dogs bar Reggie who was lied on the floor just out of shot. We had visitors this weekend and was asked, "What do you do when you sit down with all the dogs, surely you can't get them all on your lap, well I showed them this photo, maybe not all on my lap but its a good try. Millie is the one snuggled into my middriff and she is the top girl and just loves to be snuggled in real close.

Yesterday the last pup to meet his family from Primrose's litter got to meet his new family and will be called Jenson, sorry Nadine that Jenson was in sleep mode for most of your visit. In the week I was emailed by the Pearce family to be told, after meeting their pup last weekend, they had decided on the name Milly. So now all the pups are named , Milly, Maisy, Archie and Jenson. You can see in the photo above of them in a line that I actually woke them for this quick photo and in Maisy's case she opted for staying asleep with Milly putting in a yawn for visual effect. The two boys thou, seem to have got the idea of posing already.

These pups are now happy to adventure most every where and when waking up properly go to the door. Pooping is mostly outdoors already ,weather permitting. One thing they love doing at the moment is bringing in leaves from the patio and when a bit windy and dry enough will give chase of leaves blowing across the patio. 

Not so many photo's tonight for the week , as we have had lurgy  also known as a cold. Has left me a bit washed out but I am the other side of it now and will hope to get emailing tomorrow to people who have contacted me in the last few weeks. Sorry if I seem to not reply some, as I try to get back to every one and if I don't it may be as well to gently jog my memory. 

Some nice captures of the pups and also a lovely capture one of my son's caught of Toby and a couple he took of me being slowly edged of the sofa by Toby, Jessica and Belle. I was sat there first but by the way I'm sitting on the edge you would not think that.

Just eat a lovely roast dinner after going to Tesco's today and as I passed the meat counter spied a nice piece of brisket. Rarely see a nice big enough peice of brisket these days especially in a supermarket but I was not the only one that this piece of meat had caught the eye of and whilst waiting to be served had a nice conversation with an older gentleman about food in general and we settled on me having two thirds of the joint and his wife and him having the other third. It certainly was worth the haggle. Used to eat brisket a lot before having children, as ideal to pop in the oven when you go milking in the evening, as it did not matter what time you got back, as long as in a pot in a little water in the oven on a low heat the later I got home the better it tasted. It is I think the cheapest joint of meat now if having beef but if cooked right it can be the tastest. Nearly forgot to say that the dogs also enjoyed our dinner to, with some of the juices over their food and a few bits of the meat. The dogs love it when we have a roast and will sit in the kitchen when I'm letting the meat rest, I'm sure willing it to fall of the side onto the floor right next to them.
