Dolly has just given birth to her eighth pup, her only boy and we think her last pup. As the uterus contracts back down it can feel like one last pup but if you wait for inbetween the contractions and then cannot feel any mass you can be pretty sure all pups have been expelled but you can be wrong some times. Now for clean up operation and getting these pups through the next few days safe and sound. Pups can easily be lost in the first few days of life, so not out of the woods yet.  Its the only boy Just a quick photo of Dolly now with all her pups, as internet went down before I could blog photo above. So its eight pups, with three black girls, four golden girls and one golden boy. Will be intouch with everyone interested in this litter after the weekend. Now for a night of random squeaks from Dolly's pups and me jumping up out of bed like a scalded cat to see if every thing is okay, invariably it is okay.

Oh Mummy how clever you and Daddy are. My Mum Margaret says if they are a good and nice and beautiful and naughty as me they will be fantastic. Time for a good rest for everyone especially Mummy Jane xx

Congratulations Dolly (and Jane too!). This brings back happy memories for us - remembering how excited we were to hear Dolly had given birth. To everyone on the list for one of these pups - you are very lucky!! Love from Poppy's family x

Well done mummy Dolly and Jane, and a big lick ya faces Welcome all my new sisters and brother, I'm your big sister Luna and hope one of you will be coming to share the big bed I sleep on with my human mummy and daddy... I will even share my steak I have at weekends with you, but not my ball, we can buy you one of them.

Congratulations Dolly & Reggie - what another bumper crop of little bundles of fun! Seems like only yesterday that we were waiting on news of Dolly giving birth - can't believe Edward will be 2 in October!!

Couldnt agree more Dawn, we have Luna whom is Edwards sister from same litter and she is the most beautiful, kind natured and with so much love to give, our lives changed for the better. we're also keeping fingers crossed to have one of Dollys new litter for Luna to play with.
