Has been a busy weekend with 5 of Lucy's Cavapoo pups leaving us for their new homes. Just Roxy & Sammy are still with us. Sammy leaves next Saturday & we have the pleasure of Roxy's company until the 23rd february. We are always happy to keep a pup on for a bit longer when we know that it is a good home that it will be going to & Tracey who is having Roxy has been with us for Roxy from conception of Lucy's litter & when she picks up her Roxy we will of been corresponding to each other for nearly 5 months. Many of the people who have pups from us & especially ones that are patient & are with us from conception to taking their pup home do become friends & although many live far away keep in touch with photos & emails letting me know how they are all going on. The keeping in touch & seeing are pups going out into the world becoming valued family members makes all the late nights waiting up with expectant mum's, the stress of helping mum give birth, helping mum rear her litter, cleaning up puppy poo, wee & not forgetting all the time playing with the pups worth it. BarneyBarney left on friday all the way to Yorkshire with Victoria & John. This is their first pup together & they have already been in touch with a photo & asking for some advice & support to know that they are doing the right things. Victoria I have every confidence in you & don't forget the pillow over your head. Will look forward to up dates on your little man. Big PoppyBig Poppy left us friday evening with Toni & Joe. They live about 30 minutes away so Poppy had a quick trip to be in her new home. Toni has already sent me a photo & Poppy seems already to be very settled. Toni & Joe visited Poppy several times spending lots of time playing with her before picking her up & maybe this has helped in her feel settled quickly. I think Poppy will provide Toni & Joe with some funny moments to remember & will look forward to you sharing them with me please. Little PoppyWell Little Poppy what can I say. There's always a little one & true to form they are full of character making up for stature. Little Poppy left yesterday morning with Debbie & Mike for her new home near Exmouth so not to far away. Debbie has already emailed me to say that although getting alittle sick in on the car trip & crying abit her first night she seems to be settling in well & is a bundle of joy & full of energy. As you can see from her photo she is very cute & I think she may know that. All the best Debbie & Mike & look forward to getting updates on your little lady. AlbertAlbert went with Kim to his new home yesterday afternoon. Kim only lives about 30 minutes away & this is her first pup. Kim has visited Albert a couple times before picking him up & has done lots of homework before getting Albert. Kim is booking up puppy training classes which are a must especially for a first time dog owner. Albert is sure to bring you joy Kim & all the work you have & are putting in will become very much worth it. Hope to hear in the near future how you are all getting on. BaileyBailey left us this morning for his new home like Barney in Yorkshire. Bailey's new home is with Sue & her family. She has already emailed me this evening to tell me they got home safely with only one minor mishap of Bailey being sick about 20 minutes after setting off but then sleeping all but the rest of the journey & when at their home has had a good look round, a play & been shown were to go toilet & then using this area to have a wee a bit later. So of to a good start Sue. Bailey is the biggest pup now & at are home has proven to be a very confident young man so will look forward to Bailey's adventures in the future.
