This afternoon, we loaded up the car with children, dogs and some food and went down to the river for a walk and a picnic. I did get a new camera for my birthday, but I have had some issues with getting film to upload from it on to the computer. So, I opted to take my old camera that now is very dodgy to use for taking videos. We did though get some nice still images though. A tree has recently fallen across the river, where we can get down by it. Which gave us a great photo opportunity with the dogs. Archie our house guest at the moment, really enjoyed the river along with his Grandmother Millie. We have sorted the uploading issue with the new camera, so I hope to get some footage of Primrose's Cavalier pups bombing about the place up on the blog soon. Look out for the photo of me below posing comically. Last year I was out the back in the paddock with an air rival stalking rats (not very successfully I may add, so unfortunately it was back to laying rat bait. Shooting a rat or a dog dispatching them, is quicker and causes less suffering to them than poison), it was hot so I had a sleeveless t-shirt on. Our oldest son saw me and said I looked like a "Mrs Putin" Lol. Which is due to the photos of Vladimir Putin topless carrying a rifle (Not sure if is a complement or an insult, but obviously a joke), so that's me "Putining it up" in the photo below. Our oldest son Bert's nickname when he plays cricket is "Fidel" see if you can guess why ? Yes, he does wear that hat when playing cricket. Lol
