Today has seen two of Smudge's pups leave us for their new homes. The first to leave today was Bertie 2 this morning.
Bertie today joined the Derrick family and is not that far away from us being just the other side of Exeter.
Bertie left late morning and just now I received an email from Emma to tell me he traveled well, sleeping most of the way and when she emailed me he was in the garden playing with everything. Thanks Emma for letting me know you all got home safely and that Bertie 2 is settling in already to his new home.
Beasley is the other of Smudge's pups to leave us today. He left this afternoon to become part of Myfanwy and Will's home in Somerset.
Will look forward to finding out how things are going with Beasley.
Both the boys that left us today have displayed pretty laid back temperaments, much like their brother Harry who left two weeks ago. I hope to hear like Harry that they will soon be settled and at home in their new homes. These pups have been a joy to rear and I'm pretty sure they are going to bring a lot of joy to their new homes.
