Just caught a moment to blog as been a bit hit & miss lately with missing being the case most times. The school summer holidays are upon us here in the UK, so my children are rampaging around are home building dens & creating endless works of art. My children are very lucky that they live in the countryside, although they sometimes do not always feel that but I am sure like my siblings & myself will look back on their childhood & actually then appreciate the freedom they had. Primrose came off heat a couple weeks ago which was nice then to see her & Reggie back together as friends but we now have are other young girl Smudge on heat. This is Smudge's second heat & she is now 14 months old & her last heat was just over 7 months ago. I was hoping she was going to be like Mum & cycle only every 12 months. Smudge will not breed until past her second birthday, so we will be taking great care in keeping Reggie & her apart. Below are photo's of Roxy after having a full body clip. Roxy is from are last litter of Cavapoo's & is now 8 months old, she was spayed a couple weeks ago & Tracey tells me she is doing fine & is back to herself very quickly. Roxy is a very pretty girl & Tracey she is a stunner ! Thanks again for some more lovely photo's of your beautiful girl. Below are photo's of are pack with a couple of Lucinda who is a Mum I rehomed a couple months ago & she came back as a guest for two weeks as her family went on holiday. She settled back in quickly but was very pleased to see Sue & Jim when they came back to pick her up. Lucinda will be back with us in November for two months as Sue & Jim go to Australia to visit their daughter & grand children. We are now awaiting Ysabel & Dolly to come on heat & we can then hopefully look forward to are first & last litter of 2011. It has been strange not to have any pups around yet this year & am looking forward to using Reggie for the first time soon as he has such a sweet nature & lovely looks that he must be sure to produce healthy well balanced individual pups. In the photo's below you will notice some off are Cavalier's with trimmed ears, as I have now trimmed all their ears out as ticks have been a real pain this year as well as earmites & trimming the ears really help to combat both these parasites whilst also allowing the ear better ventilation. Pupster sports a full clip which he carries off well with his coat like moleskin when clipped, as tricolours & black & tans do look nice clipped but blenheims tend to looked washed out if clipped right out as the under colour is much lighter than the top coat colour. Must go now as the children offered to make me a drink & sounds like a slight disaster may off happened in the kitchen.lol. Enjoy the photo's ! Comments are closed.
