Blottie is a handsome dog, just like her Dad and her mother, Smudge. She has the most beautiful eyes with that far away look of a dog that loves to hunt. Now you might be thinking, that far away look in her eyes, comes from her Dad, being a working breed, a Brittany, but no. That look she has inherited from her Mum, who inherited it from her, Mum and my, over the years have we enjoyed where the look has taken us. Some of these old Cavaliers amazingly have retained a strong working drive and many Cavalier owners can vouch for that, when out with a dog lead, minus a Cavalier. For me being around dogs, there can be no bigger reward than to watch a dog run, and they will love you even more for that freedom. Funnily giving them that freedom, is what will make you worth coming back to. The photos taken indoors last night, were taken by our son, Thomas. The other photos outside were taken by me this morning.

We have for the last 16months had a cavalier cross with? We had assumed a welsh springer but my daughter noted today that she was sure he was a Brittany spaniel cross cavalier?
