Monday's Stew day

Don't you just love it when your batter puddings come out the oven,"Just proper", as we say in Devon, and you need to go shopping but you manage to find  just enough in the fridge to make a yummy desert.

As you can guess looking at Monday's stew, we had Roast beef yesterday, a lovely bit of brisket.The dogs have enjoyed licking off plates for two days on the trot with beef gravy on them.
​The photo shows our guest Lucy (who is with us while Sue and Jim are in Australia visiting family), this evening resting with the Poundlane pack after licking beef stew off the dinner plates before they go in the dishwasher. It's a hard life here at Poundlane.
