Treacle is coming to the boil steadily and she is having a sleep at this moment. Bitches will sleep deeply at this stage in between moments of discomfort, as contractions warm up and the first pup gets in position to be born. The waiting is always hard and today to occupy the time I gave the bathroom a really good clean, as fully tiled and then cooked up a batch of scones to occupy.  Scones cooked whilst waiting  Treacle resting as I type this Found this lovely photo in my email box earlier with a message from Joan and Colin who have Alfie, who is one of our Brittany/Cavalier pups from last year, so Bumble and Blottie's brother.  "Sending best wishes to you all and a heart from Alfie to Treacle."
