Lucy's Cavapoo pups are now 39 days old & into everything. We are trying to put them outside for a run around for ten minutes at a time weather permitting & indoors they are out of the pen more than in it. At this age now they are curious of everything so it is good to get them to see as much & experience as much as possible & learn that the world is not to scary a place. Photos are from today as it was actually dry outside so nice to get some photos of them bombing about. Pupster Tonight a photo of Pupster are oldest boy enjoying his new dog bed. Have not got round to sewing up the other one yet that Smudge & Primrose broke. Pupster is such an old character being a neutered (castrated) boy & a wonderful member of are family. This year he passes middle age to become a veteran in dog showing terms (although he has never been shown other than in a fun class at a village fete) & to me the relationship becomes even closer & the bond stronger as time passes. Sleep well Pupster, sweet dreams ! Smidge who was nearly 14 years old Lastly tonight is a tribute to Pupsters best mate who passed away in 2010 after a tragic accident which instantly killed him. When I started this website last year I did not think that I would need to use a " In Loving Memory " page for a couple of years yet & 2010 will always be remembered for me as the year I accidently killed my best friend Smidge. It really does hurt when you lose a dog & for it to be of your doing takes some coming to terms with & even now as I type this & see this photo of him taken a week before he died & he has been passed away now for over 6 months it makes me feel true grieve. I think the photo says everything about Smidge as he was a true gent to us & are children who he suffered with great patience & kindness being their for them to steady themselves on when they all first started to walk & happily accepting all their tearful cuddles when they had been told off. So as we forge on into this new year I am just going to take a moment to remember all those that are not with us as we pass into this new year & then move on but never forget them. Rest in peace Smidge. Comments are closed.
