Yesterday and today here in North Devon it has been very wet, so the photos show Smudge's pups on Sunday during the worst of the rain, sleeping it out. Henry and Smudge's Cavalier cross Brittany pups are now eleven weeks and three days old. We just have Bertie and Tilly to leave us now and they both leave us this coming Saturday, leaving us with Blottie and Bumble, the two girls we are keeping. The video is from today and again it was raining and shows the pups enjoying some raw hide chews. My camera has become very dodgy when filming and can flick on to panoramic photo, whilst trying to film, hence my comments whilst filming. The other day Primrose was standing by Bumble who is one of Smudge's pups and one of the girls we are keeping. They both looked up at me and I thought you could see a family resemblance. Then I thought, of course there would be, as Primrose has the same Dad as Bumble's Mum. The photo does not show it so well, but stood over them and they look up, you certainly can see they are related. Primrose's Cavalier pups are five weeks old tomorrow and as soon as the weather betters, they will get a chance to venture outdoors. They already have had runs around the front room and plenty of nursing by children whilst sat watching telly.
