I received two 4th Birthday greetings today from the families of pups from Millie's last ever litter, which was with Reggie, 4 years ago today Seven new arrivals ! The first email was from Ruby's family and the next one in my email inbox is from Lola's family.

"Dear Jane,

It's been a while since my last update but just wanted to send a picture of Ruby on her fourth birthday. One of the puppies from Millie's last litter. Ruby is brilliant as ever, intelligent, cheeky and loving! So friendly and always desperate to greet new people out and about. She's a little gem and such a good dog. We were remarking the other day remembering when we first brought her home and what an excellent preparation you had given the pups with house training as I think we only ever had one small accident.

She still has the toy from the litter which she likes although it is looking slightly worse for wear now! She still loves playing tug and crazy about fetching the ball which we do most days on our moor walks. We love her to bits and she is very much at the centre of our family.

Much love to you and your family and thanks so much for entrusting us with one of your babies!

Lisa and Dan and family xx"

"Hi Jane,

Today is Lola's 4th birthday (Millie and Reggie's litter in 2012), so I just wanted to send you a little email to say hi and wish her siblings a "happy birthday"!

I've attached some photos of her over the last few months.  She is as utterly perfect as ever,  but she hates having her photo taken!
We like to keep an eye on your blog and the goings-on at Poundlane; we're eagerly awaiting to see Lola's half sister Treacle's litter. I was particularly interested in reading that Millie and Toby are related.  Our only one regret is that we had Lola spayed; we would have liked to keep her bloodline going as she literally is the perfect dog.

Hope you and yours are well.

Love James, Will and Lola xxx"

A big thank you to both Ruby and Lola's families for keeping in touch and after 4 years still dropping in to the blog, now and then. It is lovely to see Poundlane pups growing up and I hope it is equally lovely for you to be able to drop in to the website to see what their parents are up to. Hope you all had a lovely day.
Time now to wish all Ruby and Lola's litter siblings Meg, Lottie, Linsey, Bayley and Scrappy a "Happy 4th Birthday" and hope you and your families are all well. You can see all seven of them at 8 weeks old, just before leaving us on the blog Millie's Pups Mugshots ! I find it hard to believe that it is now 4 years since Millie had her last litter of pups.
