![]() Back in November I wrote the blog KC bullshitting again and included an email I had received about a survey the Kennel Club (KC) were asking breeders to answer questions about 'why they do, or do not, test their dogs for Chiari malformation (CM) and syringomyelia (SM).' It seems the KC had to extend the time to full it in because Cavalier health testing survey extended due to disappointing uptake from breeders. It closed again yesterday. If you read the article on the KC website. They sent out 1300 questionnaires to Cavalier breeders and only 272 responded. So only 21% of Cavalier breeders registering dogs with the KC could be bothered to fill in a questionnaire to help in improving health issues in Cavaliers. It would of only took a couple minutes. I know because I filled it in. The photo of Toby (above) was originally from the blog entry Happy New Year from Dexter and I've been to specsavers !

Unbelievable!!!! And they will be the same people who look down their noses at Darcey because she is a crossbreed! And no doubt those 1300 breeders are charging an arm and a leg for their puppies, tested or not! Makes me furious!
