We are now down to six of Smudge's originally nine pups. It does mean that we can give even more time to each pup, as the numbers decrease. The photos above show Bertie doing something he seems to enjoy, lying on his back along your legs. He had been like this for about five minutes before our youngest son Thomas appeared with the camera. Thomas then decided to film the moment and then Bumble also came over and had a little go on the Roly Poly Machine, although she was feeling to lively to stay lied down for to long. I've had quite a few emails the last couple days and I will try and get round to answering them in the next few days. One email I received is a name for Tinkerbell from the family who are having hims. She is now Tilly Tinkerbell, Tilly for short. Thanks Karen for that and below is a slideshow of your little girl, getting to grips with eating her first bit of carrot peeling. All our carrot peelings are eaten by our dogs. Most dogs love raw carrot and it is good for them. Smudge who is Tilly Tinkerbell's mother loves red peppers and eats the core, seeds and all. Red peppers are also okay for dogs. The slideshow is of Smudge's remaining six pups Alfie, Daisy, Bertie, Tilly Tinkerbell, Bumble (who we are keeping) and Blottie (who we are keeping). They are now ten weeks and one day old.

“The greatest pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him, and not only will he not scold you,but he will make a fool of himself, too.”
