I received a couple lovely emails for Tilly today from Karen. Tilly aka Tinkerbell is from Smudge and Henry's litter born earlier this year, our first Cavalier cross Brittany litter. Sorry, but the video for some reason will only load up on here on its side. "Hello Jane I must apologise for the delay in sending you an update. Tilly has been amazing and settled in well to her new home. She brings a smile to everyone she meets here and draws a lot of attention wherever we go. Tilly seems to learn new things very quickly and has good recall, will sit,lie down and leave to command. She seems to really enjoy her training. She is incredibly good natured and seems to love people and it's been lovely to see her interact and play with other dogs after her initial scare by a Husky. Yesterday we met her dog minder David who will be looking after her for 2 days a week from September. David also has a cavalier called Hugo and they seemed very comfortable in each others company. I've attached a short clip of Tilly learning to retrieve. I hope you are all well, and thank you once again for giving Tilly such a wonderful start. Best wishes Karen" Thanks for that Karen. Tilly seems to be picking up retrieving, taking after her Dad, Henry. Good to hear her bit of a scare when meeting a Husky, has not held her back from meeting other dogs and playing with them. I then received a further email from Karen today, with a lovely photo of Tilly. ![]() "Hello again Jane We had a hot day in London on Sunday and this was the coolest place that Tilly could find - the slate hearth. As I mentioned before everyone who meets her seems to adore her. She is quite a hit in our local coffee shop as they always come out with water and dog biscuits for her. I can't believe that she has only been with us for 3 weeks and already we couldn't imagine not having her. I do hope you are all well. Best wishes Karen " Wow, she looks so much like her Granny, Millie. Thanks for sharing that with us Karen.
