The first update came in admittedly over a week ago now and is from Alison who has Millie and Millie is from Smudge's first ever litter born some three years ago on the 27th April 2012 with Reggie being her Dad. "Hello Jane, Hope you and the family are well from your blog I can see that you are very busy Smudge has done it again!! cannot believe it's been three years since she had Millie and brothers/sisters. Millie continues to be loved by us all, she loves being with the family and seems to be getting away with being more cheeky as she gets older, she especially enjoys dishwasher duty and have caught her with all paws in it, she and Maddie are great friends, but Millie is in charge most of the time !! Lynda and I plus children and dogs are heading down to Devon (South Molton) in the summer holidays hoping we can pop in and say hello. Attached are some recent Millie photos. Looking forward to watch the pups adventure over the next coming weeks Bye for now Alison and Millie xx" Thanks Alison and it will be lovely to see you all in the summer. The next update happens to be from Lynda who has Maddie. Maddie is from Primrose's litter born a year ago today and yesterday, as Primrose gave birth in the evening of the 9th April in to the early hours of the 10th April. Reggie is the Dad of Maddie as well. "Hi Jane, I can't quite believe how quickly the past year has gone and that Maddie is now one year old. She is the most delightful little dog, still full of that character you identified last year. All the family, human and canine, adore her. We are looking forward to catching up with you in August when we are all down in Devon. Maddie sends birthday wishes to all of her siblings. Regards Lynda" Thanks Lynda and hope you had a lovely 1st Birthday weekend with your Maddie. Look forward to seeing you all in August. The last update is from Andrea who has Maddie's litter sibling Colin. "Dear Jane, I know it’s been ages since we’ve been in touch, but thought it would be nice to send an update as of course Colin turns 1 year tomorrow! Hope you are all well at Poundlane – the new puppies are gorgeous and exciting to hear Primrose will be a mum again too. Colin is doing very well and has a big fan club amongst our family, friends and neighbours. (Photo on left is having just returned from ‘doggy spa’ so he could look his best for his birthday. Normally, he’s a bit muddier and scruffier!) Colin has been a fantastic addition to our family and hard to imagine life before him now. He was a dream puppy, housetrained and sleeping peacefully all night within a couple days which is a testament to what a great job you do getting puppies ready for their new homes. He has so much personality and charm everyone loves him. In fact, I believe 2-3 of our friends have contacted you over the year wanting a Cavapoo after meeting Colin. Now he’s a bit older, he’s very busy and inquisitive and has particular issues with birds which he enthusiastically chases across gardens, parks and fields. Clearly hasn’t worked out he’s got no chance. He loves going on long walks with Grandpa and Robbie, his Labrador ‘cousin’. He also loves gong to watch Daniel’s football matches and was very excited to be mascot when they won the league last weekend. He’s adopted a few habits which we hadn’t intended like sleeping on beds and sofas but he looks so comfortable… We’re looking forward to taking Colin on holiday to Cornwall this summer and if it’s not too far of a detour, maybe we can stop by for a visit?! In the meantime, best of luck with the new puppies and everything else going on at Poundlane. Regards, Andrea, Daniel & Colin xx" Thanks Andrea for the update on Colin and like Lynda I hope you have had a lovely 1st Birthday weekend with your Colin and if you can get here when on holiday in Cornwall, it will be nice to see you all again.
Yesterday we were looking forward to a visit from Sue and Colin, who have Dottie, who is litter sibling to Colin and Maddie. They were on their way from Kent to Cornwall on holiday and hoped to pop in, but traffic and me going milking at 3.30 pm conspired to the visit unable to happen, but hopefully they will pop in on their way home from holiday. Sorry Sue and Colin, hope you have a lovely week down in Cornwall with Dottie. Now all that's left to do now is to wish all Colin's and Maddie's litter siblings a Happy 1st Birthday. So a big Happy 1st Birthday to Dottie, Lottie, Buddy, Henry and of course Colin and Maddie. Hope you all had a lovely 1st Birthday weekend. Comments are closed.
