I blog tonight, with news earlier this week that my husband's Mum's sister, his Auntie had not been feeling well and visited the Doctor to be sent to hospital and on arrival there had had a Cardiac Arrest and major organ failure and was critical but stable. Yesterday the news came that she had passed away. She was only in her sixties. Very much a shock to our family and with my Mum being admitted to hospital on Thursday with a serious infection and is still in hospital at this time, its been an emotional roller coaster of a week and a reminder to never take life for granted, it is priceless. Primrose and pups are doing well and a reminder that life goes on and are a much appreciated distraction. They are now just over 4 weeks old. Today we have removed the whelping box and they now have the luxury of an oval dog bed with a very plush cuddle bed in it and have been enjoying sleeping in varies positions on their new bed and the most favoured seems to be on their backs with all fours in the air. We have had them out round the home and this week weather permitting will start to let them have a few minutes outside on the patio. Some lovely photo's tonight of the pups over the last couple days and Belle interacting with them, she is fascinated by them and if we do decide to breed from her in the future, I think that we will not have to worry about her mothering skills.
